The Energy and Materials Research Conference - EMR2012

 
Dear colleague,

You are cordially invited to submit abstracts for presentation at The Energy&Materials Research Conference - EMR2012, which will be held from 20 to 22 June 2012 in Torremolinos (Spain). 
In the current situation, where world's energy system is likely to radically change in the next decades, research into materials, processes and systems is currently foreseen as a critical aspect in the development of cleaner and more efficient energy. This conference will bring together researchers and professionals from a broad set of science and engineering disciplines with the aim of sharing the latest research results in materials and processes in the areas of:

  • Biomass, Bioenergy, Biofuels
  • Solar Energy
  • Fuel Cells
  • Hydrogen
  • Wind Power
  • Geothermal Energy
  • Wave, Tidal and Hydropower
  • Nuclear Energy

Next Key Dates
  • 14 March 2012: Deadline for early registration
  • 27 March 2012: Deadline for abstract submission (for short talks)
  • 2 May 2012: Deadline for abstract submission (for poster or virtual presentations)

 

Publications-Dissemination of presented works
  • Abstract Book: A Book of Abstracts will be produced including all abstracts of proposals presented at the conference. Each registered participant will receive a copy at the beginning of the conference.
  • Proceedings: The proceedings of the meeting will be formally released as a book, titled "Fuelling the future: advances in science and technologies for energy generation, transmission and storage", and will be published by BrownWalker Press (Boca Raton, FL, USA), which will ensure an adequate international distribution and availability of the book. Only one Full Paper can be submitted, but two works can be presented at the conference. Deadline for full paper submission: 18 July 2012.
